Rotherham United midfielder, Jason Taylor says he is glad to have been given a second chance with the Millers.

Under former boss, Ronnie Moore, the twenty-four year old was sent out on loan to Rochdale, who he helped to promotion. With a year left on his contract with the Millers and his future not looking secure, Moore had a change of heart and asked him to stay.

‘I`d done well at Rochdale,` Jaybo told The Advertiser, ‘and Ronnie Moore obviously took it on board and thought I`d got something to offer. Nobody holds grudges in this league and so, when a second chance came along, I welcomed it with open arms. This game is all about twists and turns and you don`t know what`s going to happen.

‘I thought I had a really good season last year and I hope we can have a good season this year and I can stay in the team.`

Talking about the coming season, the former Stockport player said, ‘League Two is getting stronger and stronger and every team can beat each other. The ones who have come down are better and the ones who have come up have spent as well.

‘I think the teams that are organised, don`t concede many goals and have got a good strike force are going to be up there – and I think we can be one of them.`
