Rotherham United midfielder Jason Taylor says he doesn’t care if he`s liked or not, he just gets on with the job.

‘You need people to do the ugly things,` the former Stockport County player told The Advertiser, ‘and I`m that type of player. I have had a battle to be appreciated but it doesn’t bother me to be honest, I just get on with my job.

‘The main thing is that the mangers have liked me and I’ve kept contracts where I’ve been so hopefully I can kick-on and stay here.`

Jaybo joined the Millers in January 2009 from Stockport County and spent most of the following season at Rochdale on loan. But, being the third longest serving at Rotherham, after Andy Warrington and Dale Tonge, he must be doing something right and scoring his first goal of the season last Saturday at the New York Stadium in front of the Millers fans won`t have done the lad any harm.
