Rotherham United have had a few injury problems throughout this season but things have got better as the season has progressed.

Kirk Broadfoot has only managed four appearances this season after first getting injured in the opening day of the season. After back surgery the tall Scot came back for three appearances in January before injury took it’s toll again.

Kirk is back in full training but isn’t expected to play again this season.

Lee Frecklington is another who has had an off/on season and was also injured in the opening game but came back in September. He played until October and then back in December until January. He then came back again in March playing five games but hasn’t been in the first team since the home loss to Fulham on 1st April. He’s coming along fine and the pain has lessened and has an outside chance of playing some game time before the end of the season.

Out for the rest of the season is Stephen Kelly who has had an operation on his Achilles.

Goalkeeper Lewis Price has been suffering from tonsillitis and has only just returned to training but still isn’t one hundred per cent. It’s expected that he will have to have a tonsillectomy in the near future.
