Rotherham United are hopeful that midfielder Michael O’Connor is fit to play in tomorrow’s crucial game at Home Park against Plymouth Argyle.

The Northern Ireland International came off just before half-time in Tuesday night’s game after a challenge by Bradford City’s Nahki Wells leaving him with a back problem.

Hoping Micky will be fit to travel Manager Steve Evans told MillersPlayer, ‘It was a real nasty challenge and I’m surprised the referee didn’t produce a yellow if not a more serious card but these things happen.’

Asked about David Noble who didn’t play due to illness on Tuesday, the Millers Boss said, ‘We aren’t sure what strain of virus he’s got although we know he’s not eating and having problems at the other end. We hope the symptoms have gone away, if not then he won’t travel.

‘Everyone who is fit will travel down to Plymouth today.’
