I think we all now know about Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans` six match stadium ban – all the why`s and where`s – but, as the title says, I`m a little confused.

Hopefully, Mr Evans will be sat with his feet up watching the Millers` game against Torquay this afternoon via some sort of satellite link from New York Stadium to his house (I`ve actually got images of those big black wires trailing from the stadium through Masbrough, round roundabouts, up past the old Bluebell woods – yes I am old enough to have some memories of picking wild flowers there and erm other things! – and being plugged into the back of his telly although I`m sure it`s not done like that these days!).

But, if this can`t happen then Steve has said that after the pre-match team talk, away from the stadium, he will be travelling in a fast car to Kingsmeadow to watch AFC Wimbledon take on Tuesday night`s opponents Rochdale.

So, what`s confusing me is this ‘stadium ban`. Surely if it`s a ‘stadium ban` then it means all football stadia? Or is it just a ‘stadium ban` where the Millers are playing? If so, then, as the incident happened when Steve was with Crawley, really the Football League are punishing the Millers when it was nothing to do with us? And, as the incident happened at Valley Parade then, I`d have thought, if they had decided to ban him then that is one place he shouldn`t be able to go to.

Only me confused then?
