Rotherham United and Hereford are battling it out to fetch in Bury striker, Glynn Hurst on loan for the rest of the season, according to The Star today.

It’s been known that Millers manager, Mark Robins tried to sign a striker before the transfer window closed last month and was thwarted and has so far failed to get one in through the emergency loan period.

Glynn Hurst will probably be down the pecking order at Bury with Adam Rooney joining from Stoke.

Hurst is thirty-two years old and has scored three goals for Bury this season in twenty-one league games, although he has been able to find the net in the past with 106 goals in 244 league starts.
