Rotherham United are hopeful that tomorrow’s game with Gillingham at Don Valley will go ahead.

With the Sheffield Eagles playing on Wednesday night there were thoughts that the grass would be a bit cut-up but with the ground being firm this hasn’t happened. The ground staff put covers on the pitch yesterday.

With Gillingham travelling today, for tomorrow’s game, an early decision has to be made and Chief Operating Officer, ‘Paul Douglas, told The Advertiser, ‘There’s a certain pressure on us to make a call earlier than we would like with Gillingham travelling today. The forecast is for cold weather but at the moment we are positive.’
