The Millers travel to the New Meadow (or Greenhous Meadow to give it its official name) on Saturday
Rotherham United and Shrewsbury Town have met fifty-three times in the past with Shrewsbury having the better win ratio.
Last season the game at the New Meadow ended in a two-nil win to the Shrews with goals two minutes before the end of each half – firstly from Waide Fairhurst and the second from Jamie Devitt, while the game in February at Don Valley saw the points shared with a one-all draw.
The last time the Millers took all the points from Shrewsbury at their place was at the old Gay Meadow ground in April 1999. Leo Fortune-West put the Millers in the lead on nine minutes only for Lee Steele to equalise five minutes later. Paul Warne put the Millers back in front but Stephen Jagielka got a second equaliser for the home side but with four minutes to go, Phil Whelan scored to give the Millers all three points.
