Rotherham United travel to Rochdale tomorrow evening and hope to carry on where they left off on Saturday with a win.
The Millers and the Dale have met seventy-one times in all, with the Millers winning half of those games. The last time they got together was at Don Valley in August, after the now infamous U2 concert which ruined the pitch and which Keith Hill, Dale`s Manager is still chuntering on about. The game, that day, was won by the Millers 2-1 with Adam Le Fondre getting the first on forty-three minutes, against his former club although on the stroke of half-time Chris Dagnall equalised. On the hour mark veteran, Paul Warne, got the winner.
The score was the same last time out at Spotland when Reuben Reid and Ryan Taylor scored for the visitors with Le Fondre getting a consolation goal for Rochdale fifteen minutes from time.
The season before last, is one that Millers` fans will want to forget at Spotland. After Marc Joseph had put them in front on the seventh minute, Gary Jones equalised twenty-three minutes later. Then, on sixty-eight minutes, Dagnell was introduced from the subs bench and made one-hell-of-an-impact as he scored a hat-trick in nine minutes.
