A few facts and figures of previous games between the Millers and Peterborough
Rotherham United welcome Peterborough to the New York Stadium for this Good Friday game which will be the thirty-second league game between the two sides.
The last time the pair met at the New York Stadium was in September 2013 when the Posh consigned the Millers to their first league defeat of the season. Kari Arnason was alleged to have handled in the area with Grant McCann scoring from the resulting penalty six minutes into the second half.
The last time the Millers beat Peterborough on Rotherham soil, at Millmoor, was in August 2007 when Derek Holmes opened the scoring on eight minutes with Chris O’Grady making it two-nil on thirty-three minutes. Two minutes later it was three-nil with a second goal from Holmes and could have had his hat-trick at the start of the second half but saw his shot go just past the post. Aaron McLean got a consolation in the final minutes of the game for the Posh but it was the Millers fans who went home happy. Playing for the visitors that day was Craig Morgan who went on to captain Rotherham.

The first time the pair met in the league at Millmoor was in May 1974 in the old Division Four. The game was a three-one win to the hosts with the Rotherham goals coming from Jimmy Goodfellow, Trevor Womble and John Woodall.
The game at London Road earlier this season was a two-one win for Posh. Jack Marriott opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time with Kieffer Moore replying for the visitors ten minutes into the second half. With fifteen minutes to go Marriott struck again making it two-one giving Peterborough all three points.
