Just a few facts and figures about games between the Millers and the Shrimps

Rotherham United will be the first team to play at the Globe Arena in the Football League, although Coventry christened the ground on Tuesday in the Carling Cup.

Saturday will be only the ninth game between the two sides, the first being over thirty years ago in the FA Cup when the Millers drew at Christie Park and The Shrimps won the replay at Millmoor, two-nil. Our last game at Christie Park, four months ago in April, was also a two-nil loss to the Millers with Philip Jevons and Simon Hackney getting the goals for Morecambe. The day was also a day of unrest for the visiting fans with many of them calling for Ronnie Moore`s head.

Like the Millers the Shrimps found themselves in the play-offs last season, losing to Dagenham and Redbridge who went on to beat the Millers at Wembley.
