Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Harrison told The Advertiser that the players have let Manager, Ronnie Moore down.

Moore, who has publicly criticised his players, which hasn’t gone down well with the majority of the fans, has been booed at recent games, but Harrison says, ‘The manager can only pick who he thinks will win the game. He can’t do things for us on the pitch.

‘Every manager has their own ideas of how things should be done but the bottom line is that the buck stops with us.

‘We let him and the fans down last Saturday and we know we’ve not been good enough in some games. It is only us who can turn it around. No-one else.

‘After the Darlington match we were looking around at each other scratching our heads. We all know it was no where near good enough.

‘We’d had two good days training and a game plan in place but we never took even a tiny bit of that onto the pitch with us. Darlington imposed themselves on us and were better than us.’

Talking about the game tomorrow against Lincoln City, the twenty-seven year old said, ‘Lincoln are the sort of team we need to be beating.’
