Rotherham United entertain Milton Keynes Dons today and midfield player, Danny Harrison, says it is a game he is looking forward to.

Speaking to The Advertiser he said, ‘I think we have had an eye on this game over Christmas but we also wanted to take as many points as possible into this match. And, with our recent results we have set ourselves up nicely.

‘This is really first taking on second and the fact that we haven’t played each other yet this season makes it a little bit more special. It will be a yardstick to see how far we’ve come.

‘We are confident of beating any team put in front of us and we are really up for this game as we are putting ourselves up against the best in the league.’

Harrison has played in twenty six of the Millers games, League and Cup, since joining in the summer and says, ‘When I first came here the aim was to get promotion and now we’ve got ourselves into a great position and I know its a cliche but all we can do is beat the teams in front of us.

‘We’ve come a long way. We had a lot of new signings and then people like Ian Ross have come into the team but we’ve still carried on and look like we are going from strength to strength and the fans have been brilliant all season, home and away, and I hope we get a good crowd today.

‘The main thing for me when I came here was to play and I’ve been doing that and winning most weeks and enjoying my football. I can’t really ask for more.’
