Rotherham United loanee striker Haris Vuckic has told The Star that he isn’t happy with the lack of playing time he`s been getting.

The twenty-one year old, who joined the Millers on loan from Newcastle in November, originally until January but then extended until the end of the season, thought he would have been getting more game time with Rotherham.

‘It has been frustrating because I’ve not been getting much starting time,` Haris said, ‘which I’ve not been happy about – and neither have Newcastle. But I do understand why because if a team is winning it is hard to get in the side. And the only thing I can do is when a chance comes along take it.

‘We have four really good strikers who have to fight to get into the team. But the important thing is that we work hard and win games.`

Of the fifteen games Haris has taken part in for Rotherham he has actually started eight times and scored three goals – the only goal of the game against Bradford on Boxing Day and two in the six-nil win over Notts County at the start of this month.

And, if rumours are correct, it could get worse for the strikers with Steve Evans reportedly looking at yet another forward to join the Millers.
