Rotherham United’s First Team Coach Matty Hamshaw says that striker Carlton Morris is pleased to be finally at the New York Stadium.

After signing for the Millers on transfer window deadline day from Norwich City the twenty-one year old has only just arrived due to injuries.

‘It’s been frustrating,’ Hamshaw told Radio Sheffield, ‘not only for the player but for us as staff and for the fans. But he’s pleased to be here.

‘He’s looking to make an impact as soon as he can.

‘He’s a big, strong, athletic boy and, on the training ground, he’s shown us he knows where the back of the net is. Let’s hope he can find it a few times from now until the end of the season.

‘New players and players coming back from injury gives everyone a boost.’
