Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans has been called ‘distasteful’ by Bournemouth Manager Paul Groves.

Groves said this about the Millers boss after he made public the failed bid he had for Cherries striker, Matt Tubbs.

Although he knows that Bournemouth had done similar things in the past, the Cherries manager said that while he is manager at Dean Court it is not how he will conduct the transfer business, Groves told Radio Solent, ‘You do it in a professional manner and that means not talking about players who are under contract. It is distasteful, a manager is making comments about someone under contract.’

Groves also said that Tubbs is a key part of Bournemouth’s plans for next season.
