Rotherham United midfielder Paul Green believes that there are times when you can concentrate too much on your opponents.

Speaking to The Advertiser the thirty-one year old said that before Monday’s game against Brighton the players had gone in early and watched a video of all the Millers best performances and, let’s be honest, that seemed to work.

‘It as good to concentrate on ourselves , after all it’s only us who are going to get us out of this mess. It was a great win.’

Speaking about the game against Sheffield Wednesday at the New York Stadium, Paul carried on, ‘It was disappointing not to win after being in front so late but you have to take the rough with the smooth.

‘We knew what Monday’s game meant to the fans and we were solid as four-four-two and they couldn’t get through us. We cut the mistakes out and came through.

‘Mathematically we could still go down but there’s positive thinking in the camp. The games are coming fast and it’s going to be a quick end to the season. We’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves, pick up points and not think about other teams.’
