Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says the fans know what he thinks of them.

‘I don’t need to pay the Millers support any more humbleness than I’ve done since the day I walked in here,’ the Millers Boss told Rob Staton of Radio Sheffield.

‘Against Norwich for spells in the second half when we went behind they took the decibels and the atmosphere to a new level.

‘Dare I say that, with the chances we missed before we equalised, on another day our team might have given up the ghost but for the backing like that. Some of the players were talking to me about the hairs standing up on the back of their neck from the atmosphere and this is from lads who have played in the Premier League and the Championship.

‘Never for one minute do me and the players forget who the most important people are at this football club. Equally it’s not the people on the pitch although it comes down to that tomorrow night, it’s the people sat round the pitch who are the real people.

‘So we ask once again for the Rotherham public to come out and give us an atmosphere again. We are going to need centimetre to get over this line and we can do it tomorrow night. So I’m pleading for the fans to come again and get behind us.’
