Rotherham United loanee Lee Frecklington isn’t sure of what his future with the Millers holds as he is due to play the last game of his loan spell on Tuesday night.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the twenty-seven year old, who is on loan from Peterborough, said, ‘I’ve enjoyed myself and I’d like to stay. We’ve had some good results and I’ve enjoyed being here and I’d be more than happy to extend. I’ll assess the situation on Tuesday night and see where we go from there.

‘Up until Saturday we’d won four and drew one and, if you’d said that at the start of the month, everyone would have taken that. I’d love to get on the score sheet again and a goal in the next two games would be very nice and would be a good tally for me to finish off on. I like getting forward and I like shooting and scoring goals and since I’ve been here it’s given me licence to get forward more than I could at Peterborough.

‘I don’t know much about Cheltenham but the league table doesn’t lie and they are third so I think we need to impose our game on them early doors and hopefully we can get the right result.

‘We were all disappointed after last week but we’ve been upbeat this week and we know we need to turn it around, beat Cheltenham and forget about last week.’
