Rotherham United midfielder Lee Frecklington had to be replaced five minutes before half-time as he limped off the field this afternoon away at MK Dons.

Asked after the four-nil win by MillersPlayer about the club captain, Manager Neil Warnock said, ‘He just felt his calf stiffen up, not go, so hopefully it might mean just a couple of weeks without him. But he`s done an awful amount of running in the three games this week.`

Going on to speak about the others in the side, Neil carried on, ‘How Matt Derbyshire carried on I don`t know and he scored another goal.

‘We needed to put Danny Ward on because Besty (Leon Best) wasn`t firing on all cylinders today. But it`s a lot for him three games in a week at the intensity we play. And Wardy came on and I thought he was different class again.’

Joe Newell came on for Lee Frecklington and although it’s a shame that we look like being without Frecks for a couple of games I think Newell did well when he came on.

What do you think? Is he a good replacement for Frecks?
