Three former Millers have been on the move this week.

Defender Dale Tonge, who was released at the end of last season, has moved to join former Millers boss Alan Knill at Torquay. Tongey, who joined the Millers from Barnsley in May 2007, made just eleven appearances for the Millers last season.

Defender Callum Kennedy was on loan to the Millers from Swindon Town in 2011. His first game against Oxford at the Kassam Stadium ended early when he was sent off just after the hour mark after pulling back Steve MacLean and giving away a penalty. Callum moved to Scunthorpe last season and, after leaving by mutual consent, has joined AFC Wimbledon.

Another former loanee, Sam Hoskins, played eight games for Rotherham towards the end of the 2011/12 season, from Southampton. His first league goal was the winner for the Millers against AFC Wimbledon and he also scored in the two-all draw against Aldershot – both times away from Don Valley. A fans favourite striker made eight appearances during his loan spell. Sam was released by the Saints at the end of last summer and has recently joined Yeovil Town who got promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in May.
