While Rotherham United seem to have got their new Manager, former Manager Steve Evans and his Assistant Paul Raynor have been given the push by Leeds United.

Evans joined Leeds after leaving the Millers in October 2015 and helped them to eleventh in the Championship, which is their highest finish in five years.

After Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has seemingly approached other Managers over the last few weeks Evans’ future has been in doubt at Elland Road.

Speaking to Leeds’ Official Site, Cellino said, ‘Steve completed the job he was brought in to carry out – to keep the team in the Championship – and his hard work here has been greatly appreciated. I wish him and Paul Raynor the very best for the future. We have, however, decided that a different approach is required in order to achieve our targets for the new season.’

Leeds will now be on the look out for their seventh Manager/Head Coach since the Italian took over the club in April 2014.

Maybe he needs to ask Tony Stewart for a lend of the list he had for our Manager . . . .
