Former Rotherham United Manager and player Mark Robins has become the new manager of Coventry City.

Mark joined the Millers from Walsall in the summer of 2000 and scored two goals in his first game at Millmoor against his former club – although, unfortunately for the Millers the Saddlers scored three! He went on to make over one hundred appearances for the Millers and scored forty-nine goals before moving to Bristol City on loan in February 2003 and eventually to Sheffield Wednesday for a season and finishing his career with Burton Albion.

He returned to Millmoor as Alan Knill’s assistant manager before taking over in March 2007. Going through administration and the move to Don Valley from Millmoor Mark finally left the Millers to take over at Championship neighbours Barnsley in September 2009 resigning from Oakwell in May 2011.

All at Vital Rotherham wishes Mark all the best at the Rioch Arena
