Rotherham United travel to Aldershot today having lost four of their last eight league games.

This has prompted Aldershot manager, Kevin Dillon, to tell The Daily Star that only form teams do well in the play-offs and Rotherham aren’t one of the form teams.

‘Look at the Championship play-offs this week,’ the former Reading coach said, ‘Blackpool and Cardiff are the teams that’s progressed and they are the teams that ended the season the strongest.

‘In our division Morecambe and Dagenham are the form teams, though we have done OK. In fact, we’ve done really well.’

Of their last eight games, Shot have lost just two games, winning three – one of those against the Millers at the EBB Stadium.

So, if this statement doesn’t get Ronnie and the lads ‘up’ for this evenings game, then I don’t know what will.

The game kicks-off at 6.00pm at the EBB Stadium today

Before the game today, the match ball will be placed in the centre circle by two Aldershot based members of the British Army and following this there will be a minute’s applause in appreciation of our serving soldiers and Help For Heroes.
