Rotherham United entertain Peterborough tomorrow afternoon with former Millers Manager Steve Evans coming back to the New York Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the clash tomorrow the Millers Boss told
Freeview, ‘I don’t want to give too much away because I know that with his attention to detail he’ll be watching my interview.

‘I’ll pick the team that I think will do well but also that we think will do well against the opposition.

‘We will be going out to play on the front foot, to win the game but also we’ll be keeping an eye on their threats of which they have plenty. And, I think under Steve and Paul (Raynor) they’ve got a bit more consistency than they had earlier in the season.’

Meanwhile, speaking to PoshTV Steve Evans said, ‘They say ‘Once A Miller, Always A Miller’ and I think if you’ve worked for Tony Stewart and his family at Rotherham United you are a lucky boy.

‘I’m looking forward to going and I got an unbelievable reception from all sides of the ground when I took Leeds United there and I’m looking forward to seeing the Rotherham fans.

‘Paul Warne has done fantastically well and I think it was a really good appointment. He’s already a legend of a player and member of staff there.’

There is no thoughts about it that Steve Evans worked wonders for Rotherham United while he was Manager – got us up from League Two to One and then into the Championship via a Wembley play-off final.

Paul Warne worked under Evans in a couple of guies, getting more involved under him with the first team than he had previously. Might owe him something I suppose but I believe Paul Warne would
have worked his way up whoever was in charge. Steve Evans is correct when he says that Warney is already a legend with the Millers fans – he is a Miller. Steve Evans was a Miller who will always be respected for what he did for us in his time at the New York Stadium.
