Rotherham United are inviting fans to watch them train at the New York Stadium next Tuesday at 11am.
Speaking to Les Payne of The Star, Millers boss Steve Evans said, ‘We are proud to be a part of this community and we want to give fans the chance to see us train and it is a chance for the youngsters to come down while they are off school to see the lads perform on a training pitch.’
Great idea this – though I do think it’s a shame that it’s happening when a lot of ‘older’ people will be at work.
