Rotherham United’s Administrator, Jeremy Bleazard has asked for more time from the courts to send out letters to the clubs creditors to agree to a CVA after the original deadline expired this week.

The Advertiser believes that the extension will be for two or three weeks.

Meanwhile the prospective new owner, Tony Stewart, is funding the club and will be looking to bring it out of administration without incurring the minus fifteen points that the Football League imposes on clubs for failing to come out of administration with a CVA in place.
