Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has admitted that he would be interested in his former midfielder Sergio Torres if the price was right.

The Argentinian born Crawley Town player began his English career with non-league Surrey side Molesey and joined Basingstoke Town in in 2004. After impressing in a pre-season friendly, Torres was offered a deal with Wycombe Wanderers where he stayed until he joined Peterborough in the summer of 2008. In July 2010 he joined Crawley Town.

Speaking to This is Sussex, the Millers Boss said, ‘If money was no issue we would definitely be interested in a fantastic player like Sergio. He played brilliantly for me and was always one of the first names on my team-list. I’m not sure we could afford Sergio but if we could reach an agreement where Crawley paid some of his wages I would love to bring him in.’

Do we need another midfielder? Would you rather we strengthen the squad in other areas?
