Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans believes the Millers need four points from their last three games to be playing Championship football next season.

Sitting just one place, but four points, above the drop zone the Millers Boss told Dave Beddows of The Advertiser that he knows it won’t be an easy ride in.

Saying he’s already prepared himself for the Football League taking three points off after the hearing into Easter Monday’s playing an ineligible player, the Gaffer said, ‘After Millwall lost to Blackburn it’s still in our hands and that’s the way we have to keep it.

‘We recognise the importance of keeping this team in the Championship and these next two games are the biggest games this club have ever played but what we must do is keep our focus and whatever news comes not let if affect us.

‘Four points could be enough and six will send us on our holidays but we’ll have to earn them. We are playing against the most in-form team in the Championship tomorrow in Norwich and we can’t let our concentration slip for one second. If we do they will punish us. We must affect their game and play with high energy and by turning the game into a battle.

‘My message to the players will be to get in the trenches.’
