Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is impressed with the form his striker Matt Derbyshire is in as we go into probably the most important three games of the Gaffers’ time with the Millers.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss said, ‘Since he popped the first one in Matt has got great goals returns and if he’d been like it all season he’d have been in the twenty-plus bracket and we are looking for him to add to his goal tally in the next week.

‘His movement gives defenders a problem and his willingness to graft for the team is excellent. We are really, really pleased with Matt’s application to play football and it’s the cherry on top of the cake when he’s getting goals.

‘We’ve got to work hard to make chances for him. He got two chances at Fulham and he took one of them which is a fifty per cent strike rate and any striker in the world of football would be pleased with that.’
