Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that although his team didn’t win their last game, which was Fulham away, they can take momentum from the performance.

‘The biggest reason we didn’t win was because we didn’t take our chances,’ the Millers Boss told MillersPlayer. ‘But it was an excellent performance from the players.

‘After that game we got the boys back quickly onto the training ground then they had a couple of days over the weekend to get really fresh and now we’ve got three games in a week that we have to deal with and deal with well.

‘We’ve got lots of momentum and there are lots of positives in the dressing room.’

To be honest we’ve been talking about those ‘missed chances’ for the past three seasons and, for some reason, we are still missing them. And I can’t really understand why. The Gaffer has tried different permutations up front from one alone to two up there and still we seem to be missing those ‘easy’ chances. Maybe it’s the balls into the box that want looking at? Perhaps they aren’t coming in like they do in training? Maybe we should try the ‘hang-it-all’ approach and play three up front!
