Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans told Radio Sheffield that today`s win was for the fans.

Over eight thousand eight hundred Millers were at the New York Stadium this afternoon to see a goal from skipper Johnny Mullins win the game for their team.

‘We`ve won a derby game today which is magic for the supporters,` Evans said, ‘but we`ve achieved nothing yet.

‘I said to the players that the fans have had one or two bad days here so let`s give them a day to remember. This wasn`t for the players or even the Chairman or Steve Evans or anybody else, this one is for them.

‘And they will remember this game because some of the play was just sensational.`
