Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that, although he’s honoured that his name has been linked with other teams, he is not going anywhere.

Rumours have been rife around the Millers fans that Steve will be off to Peterborough, where he has family, at the end of this season, which have been fueled by the fact that Peterborough don’t have a permanent manager.

Speaking to The Advertiser the Millers Boss said, ‘Tony Stewart has made it clear that this club has come further in two and a half years than he could ever have imagined.

‘I sacrifice my life and my family to do this job and the Chairman knows that and has given me fantastic support.

‘Do you think I’m going to give that up? Do me a favour.

‘I’m honoured other clubs would like me to be their manager but I work for a great football club with great people and there are things that I want to do here beyond this season.’
