After being less than happy (to say the least) with last weeks officials, the Millers Boss Steve Evans said there was just one thing that disappointed him today with Carl Berry’s performance.

‘We are disappointed that the lad didn’t get a second yellow when he gave away the penalty but apart from that I think the referee’s had a strong game,’ the Rotherham Manager told Radio Sheffield. ‘And he had to be strong because it’s two very committed sides.’

Asked about the penalty decision, Steve said, ‘Kieran bursts into the box and he goes down and the referee gives a penalty. If it was my player I’d be saying in the dressing room that he’s actually given the referee the opportunity to give the penalty. Kieran thinks there’s been some contact but I’d like to look at the DVD.

‘They came to the New York Stadium and we deserved the points that day and got nothing and I think, over the ninety minutes, we deserved our win today.’
