Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans, as we know, isn’t frightened to make changes.

In the past year he`s brought players in, realised they’ve not fitted and shipped them out again, sometimes with them having little match time and sometimes much to the fans` surprise and upset.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser the Millers Boss said he doubted very much that he would make eight or nine changes from the side that won promotion last season but warned, ‘If there has to be changes then I`m the manager and I`ll make them and there`s some tough decisions to be made.`

We know that the Gaffer doesn`t want ‘bad apples` in the dressing room and that he doesn`t suffer fools gladly so I think we were all a little surprised at some of the signings he`s brought in during the summer. Then again, we also know that if they don`t cut the mustard they will be out on their ears.

I hope somebody`s told them not to ‘mess with Big Steve`!
