Rotherham United`s latest signing Craig Morgan made his debut for the Millers this afternoon in the six-two thumping by Port Vale.

The twenty-seven year old came on for the second half in place of Nicky Hunt, who, to be honest, didn`t look fit with Millers Boss Steve Evans saying, ‘Apart from the one mistake he`s been excellent. He`s been a real competitor.

‘We didn`t really want to play Craig today because we feel he`s still a game or two away but we had no other defensive cover.`

It was a mix-up at the back that gave former Millers player Tom Pope his fourth goal of the game when Morgan`s header fell at the strikers` feet but Steve Evans said, ‘I think Johnny (Mullins) should have dealt with that before that and has put his hand up to it.’
