Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has signed three players so far this summer and hasn’t ruled out more coming in.

Defender Joe Skarz, who finished the season on loan with the Millers, signed a two-year deal in March with Richard Brindley and Adam Collin joining yesterday.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the Millers Boss said, ‘We are working through our shape and our plans for next season and we have been very diligent at doing our recruitment at this stage of the season. Last season we had to act a lot quicker because we had a big turn around of players to sort out but it’s been different this season and the players have been hand-picked. We’ve done a lot of research not only into their abilities but also into their character.

‘We are in talks with four or five other players and something could happen tomorrow or in two weeks or in four weeks and we won’t sign every player we target.

‘But Joe Skarz, Richard Brindley and Adam Collin are already three welcome additions to what is an already talented squad.’
