Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans explained to Radio Sheffield why he had to make two late changes to his starting eleven today in the game against Walsall at the New York Stadium.

Mark Bradley twisted a knee. He will be having a scan tomorrow but he`s walking about so I don`t think it`s too bad. We hope he`ll be OK for next Saturday but we`ll see what the scan shows.

‘James Tavernier blocked a shot at the end of the session yesterday and twisted his ankle a little but he`ll be fine for next Saturday.`

Asked whether he thought the Millers missed the Newcastle loanee, the Millers Boss said, ‘No. I don`t think we miss any players, It`s not a Tavernier show, it`s not an Arnason show, it`s not a Frecklington, it`s not anyone`s show it`s Rotherham United. We said it would be a squad to take us all way through the season and that was evident today when we had to make the two changes.

‘But there were pluses for us today. We got Michael O`Connor on the pitch and Rob Milsom is back on the bench today one hundred per cent fit so they are pluses.

‘Arguably we`ve got a monster of a game next week away at Peterborough and we will take a fantastic support down there and then we`ve got a couple of home games. We’ve got a reserve game on Monday so some will play in that and we`ll get people nice and fresh and ready for a real tough game at Peterborough.`
