Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans said that he, and everyone else concerned with the club, are deeply disappointed with the decision the Football League made to dock the Millers three points.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield last night the Millers Boss said, ‘We are disappointed but we aren’t down.

‘We`ve got to get ready for Norwich City in a near sell-out crowd at the New York Stadium in an atmosphere that is unrivaled around the Championship grounds.

‘There will be ten thousand Millers in the stadium, fourteen very committed players if I use my three subs and a staff and Board of Directors who are desperately behind every one of those players trying to get us a point or three against formidable opponents in Norwich City.

‘We have to play at our best and if we do that then we have a chance.

‘This is squeaky bum time in the season and that`s whether you are at the top or the bottom. Things are tight and you have to score and not concede goals to win some football matches.`

Steve also said that the Chairman, Tony Stewart, and the legal team will decide whether there will be an appeal next week.
