Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was delighted after Frazer Richardson signed on the dotted line today for the Millers.

The defender has signed a two-year deal and the Millers Boss told the Official Site that the thirty-one year old is an ‘excellent capture’.

‘He’d had a number of offers from Championship clubs but given the opportunity for a player of this calibre to play for his home town club meant that Frazer made it very easy to conclude the deal.

‘He has a fantastic professionalism about him and is a top quality addition who can play at right-back or on the right-hand side of midfield or even in centre of defence.’
