Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans said he was pleased to meet some of the fans at yesterday`s reserve game at Parkgate.

Speaking to MillersPlayer today, Evans said, ‘It was great to see some of the supporters yesterday because I got the chance to walk around and answer a few questions and listen to a few opinions. My message is loud and clear to the supporters, the barriers are down and we`ve thrown the keys away and the supporters can come and give us opinions because sometimes they`ve got the best knowledge of all about the young lads around Rotherham or the villages around. We want to hear about them before Wednesday or Sheffield United or Doncaster or Barnsley get them. We should be getting first sight of them but they do have to be good enough.

‘So, to the supporters out there, this is your football club, come and play your part.`
