Rotherham United winger/striker, Kevin Ellison, says that the team haven’t took their feet off the gas after the performance last Saturday.
Speaking to MillersPlayer, the thirty-one year old said, ‘It’s been a tough week and we are looking forward to Saturday. I think, with the big game coming up, the lads didn’t want to get injured last Saturday.
‘We aren’t going to let last Saturday affect us because we’ve got a big game coming up.
‘Apart from Saturday, since I’ve come back from being dropped I think I’ve done alright and I hope to get picked for the weekend. I seem to be putting more effort in now but not getting the goals but I hope to put that right in the next two games.’
Talking about Aldershot he said the game down there last month wasn’t a three-nil game. ‘When we went one down we were chasing the game a little bit and they hit us on the counter. They’ve got decent wide men and two decent forwards but if we stop them we’ve got an excellent chance.’
Kevin said he has played in the play-offs before but hopes it doesn’t end like it did when there was a pitch invasion and he got trampled on!
‘I think it will help having players who have play-off experience though there is a lot of young players here and the older pros might have to help them out.
‘I want only good memories this time,’ he added.
