Rotherham United`s Kevin Ellison said, it was just ‘one of those afternoons` after the nil-nil draw with Cheltenham at Don Valley on Saturday.

Speaking after the game to MillersPlayer, the former Tranmere player said, ‘We had plenty of chances. I had a chance and slipped, Alfie had one, Marcus` had one. I think if we`d got one then we would have gone on to get three or four.`

Talking about, what was called a ‘comedy of errors` where Brown, in the visitors` goal, slipped and the ball went to Adam Le Fondre and eventually to Ellison who seemed to fall, he said, ‘It went a bit behind me but to be honest I was surprised that Alfie passed it, he doesn`t usually when he`s in the box! I turned and just lost my footing and it`s just one of those things.`

Ellison got his place back after being dropped for the Tuesday night game against Northampton and said, ‘I got a kick up the back side and hopefully I can find a bit of form now before, touch wood, we get into them play-offs.

‘This stage of the season it isn`t about playing pretty football it`s about being ugly and the gaffers put me back in there. We won Tuesday and the draw today and we haven`t conceded a goal and I`m just glad to be back in. ‘

Talking about the last three games of the season, he went onto say, ‘Personally, I want to win every game and get into the play-offs. We need to get points on the board. It`s been a long season but when you look at it, Wembley is five games away, and although we are ready for a holiday if I could swap a holiday for an appearance at Wembley then of course I would.`
