Rotherham United’s Kevin Ellison scored two goals at Bradford on Saturday which would have pleased his Manager, Ronnie Moore after saying he wanted to see more players on the score sheet.

Speaking to The Advertiser, the former Tranmere player said that, after his two goals, the lads were telling top scorer, Adam Le Fondre that he’d better watch out!

‘The lads told Alfie I was catching him up and he turned to me and said, ‘you are only ten behind me’.

‘The gaffer had said that if Alfie doesn’t score then we don’t look like scoring but that’s changed now though we all need to chip in with a few more goals. If we take the pressure off him then he might come up with a few more.

‘Me? I’d like to get to thirteen or fourteen or maybe more. Then, hopefully, Alfie will be looking over his shoulder!’
