Rotherham United’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas has told Radio Sheffield that the club have decided to put the ‘home’ play-off games tickets on sale tomorrow to give everyone as much time as possible to get sorted.

The decision to put the tickets on sale before we know who we play or when we play the home leg has split the supporters since it was announced this afternoon. Some or saying it will stop the queues and others are saying they won’t know until everything is sorted if they will be able to go to the game due to work/family commitments. (I suppose it’s a case of ‘you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t).

‘We are lucky that it’s been confirmed so early that we will be in the play-offs,’ Mr Douglas said this evening, ‘so we are taking advantage of it and giving people as much time as possible plus it ensures there will be little back-up at the ticket office.

‘We are used to pre-match ticket sales and we can cope but if we can avoid queueing then we will.’

‘To start with we will give the away fans as few tickets as we are able which should ensure that there are over ten thousand home tickets available.’

Season Ticket holders are able to get their seat plus one other ticket from 9.00am tomorrow then it will be Mayday Members’ turn on 30th April. Next in line are people who have tickets for this Saturday’s game against MK Dons and if they take their stub they can purchase play-off tickets from 2nd May. Tickets go on General Sale on 7th May.

Ticket Prices for the Home Play-Off Leg are the same as match day.
