Rotherham United striker Matt Derbyshire wasn’t impressed with referee Andy Davies missing a handball at Craven Cottage on Wednesday evening.

Fulham’s equaliser came from what looked to everyone in the ground (even some Fulham fans mentioned it on our way back to the coach) a handball by eventual scorer Ross McCormack.

Speaking to The Advertiser after the one-all draw, Derbs said, ‘Going into the dressing room afterwards everyone was disappointed that we didn’t come away with all three points and, to be honest, the referee messed up.

‘The lads grafted so hard for the points and for him to miss a blatant handball is so disappointing.

‘Now we’ve got to pick ourselves up and deal with that but overall we can take positives from the game.’

Matt scored his ninth goal of the season on Wednesday and he said, ‘When you’re playing more regularly then you’re going to get more chances. But, as I’ve always said, it’s not about me it’s about the team performance and getting those three points.’
