With midfielder David Nobel become the Millers tenth new signing of the pre-season, what do we know about him?

Well, the thirty year old won the FA Youth Cup with Arsenal but his first senior games were when he was on loan with Watford during the 2001/2 season. He joined West Ham in January 2003 but made just a handful of appearances with the Hammers moving to Boston United a year later. He made over fifty appearances with the Pilgrims and also had a loan spell with Bristol City before signing for them in January 2006. While with the Robins David helped them back into the Championship which included scoring two goals for them against the Millers in May 2007. In August 2010 the 6 foot midfielder moved to St James Park and made over eighty appearances for the Grecians which includes forty-six last season as captain where he helped out with three goals.

David also has one cap for the Scotland B team.

David will know both Steve Evans and Paul Raynor well, having worked with them at Boston and it appears it was a chat with the Millers Boss that made the midfielder change his mind about signing for a League One side and putting pen to paper for the Millers.
