Rotherham United defender, Liam Darville, on loan from Leeds United, has been given the all clear after a brain scan.

The twenty-year old was involved in a clash of heads during training and Physio, Denis Circuit told The Star that he was a bit groggy but didn’t lose consciousness.

‘We dealt with him and he seemed fine, laughing and joking, but we warned him about delayed reaction,’ Denis said.

‘On his way home, Liam felt unwell, and an ambulance was sent for. He was taken to hospital and had a CT scan, to make sure there was no bleeding. It was clear but he was kept in over night for observation and then discharged.’

Liam joined the Millers from Leeds last month but hasn’t yet featured in a first team game, and, due to this injury, couldn’t take part in last night’s reserve game at Lincoln.
