Tomorrow night there will be fund-raising with a difference to help out Rotherham United when the Blue Minx opens it’s doors for a football themed night in aid of helping the Millers.

Paul Delaney, the man who organised it, told the Rotherham Record, ‘Although it is strictly over eighteens we are hoping to attract couples and families. It isn’t a gentleman’s night only – it’s a fun night with a football theme.’

‘The private dancers will still be there offering dances but there will be much more to the event. We’re hoping to raise a four figured fund.’

There is to be a raffle with Millers shirts and memorabilia as prizes. Any money made will go directly into the running of the club and not towards administrators fees.

Entry to the club has been reduced for the evening to £5.

So, if you haven’t anything planned for tomorrow evening, pop along to the Blue Minx on Main Street
