Rotherham United midfielder, Micky Cummins, thinks the Millers have a chance of the play-offs, despite the team being twenty-first in the league!

‘I know the gaffer has played down the play-off talk but there’s confidence in him and in the squad,’ Cummins told The Advertiser. ‘Obviously, safety is the priority but we’ve got a good run-in to Christmas and come January, hopefully we’ll be looking towards the play-offs. And, if we get on an unbeaten run and make Don Valley a fortress then you never know what will happen.’

Cummins said that, although the Cup games are a nice distraction, he is frustrated that they can’t get on with playing in the league. ‘It’s good to pit our wits against the so called bigger sides but it’s important that we push on and get the points in the league.’
